Human Health:
Needle-Free Vaccine Solutions

Nobody likes needles

People have lots of reasons to not get vaccines.

Let's take needles off the list.

Our innovative vaccine platform allows our vaccine to be delivered through the skin, where immune cells are constantly on the hunt for invaders.

Microneedles, tiny needles that painlessly penetrate the outermost layers of the skin, can deliver our vaccine to those immune cells and prepare them for future battles.

Our microneedles take up about as much space as a postage stamp and can be applied as easily as putting on a bandaid

Our impact

An effective vaccine against S. aureus could protect individuals from getting MRSA. And we won't stop there. With our novel platform and needle-free technology, we aim to create vaccines against other bacteria and viruses that cause human disease.

This is just the beginning.

A needle-free solution to MRSA

Methicillin-Resistant Staphylococcus aureus, or MRSA, is a type of drug-resistant bacteria that causes infections in the skin, lungs, bloodstream, and other tissues. It is resistant to methicillin and many other common antibiotics, making it difficult to treat. It affects people in hospitals and nursing homes, people with weakened immune systems, and people in high-risk, close-contact settings like military personnel, athletes, prison inmates, children in daycare, etc. MRSA causes 11,000 deaths annually.

But there are currently no MRSA vaccines

We are working hard to create a vaccine using our innovative needle-free platform that would train the immune system to attack S. aureus.
